We have an immediate need for a CNC Machine Programmer. The primary responsibilities of this position are to interpret project blueprints, design programs and set up documents for machinists to follow. Assist with setting up machines to manufacture the product outlined in the drawings per created programs. This employee may also serve as a member of cross-functional teams to improve manufacturability of products and assist with initial quoting of product.
The successful candidate will have:
High School Graduate or equivalent.
Five (5) years of CNC programming experience using MasterCam and Camplete software.
Prefer some experience with multi-axis lathe and Swiss type turning centers.
This position requires:
- Knowledge of metallurgy, measurement tools, mathematics, and blueprint reading is required.
- Full understanding of manufacturing processes of hard metal components.
- Ability to use the Microsoft Office suite of products is preferred.
- Must be available for overtime and weekend hours.
- Experience programming 5 axis CNC machines.
