The Boeing Company is looking for an Associate Instrumentation Technician to join our team in one of the following locations:
-Tukwila, WA
- Seattle, WA

This role will support testing across multiple lab test capabilities (i.e. Structures, Aerodynamics, and Mechanical/Electrical Systems).
This position is for 1st shift; however, various shifts, nights, weekends, alternate shifts may be required.

Position Responsibilities:
- Supports activities to plan, conduct and document tests on products, systems, components, materials, and manufacturing processes and technologies
- Integrates and operates instrumentation, data acquisition, and control systems to achieve test requirements that encompass the full spectrum of testing
- Analyzes, reviews and validates test data
- Verifies collection of complete data set
- Participates in test design and performs routine procurement, fabrication and assembly of components, test fixtures and test systems
- Supports the coordination of test requirements and assists in reviewing test methods and capabilities
- Assists in the development of test procedures, and instrumentation configuration definition to perform the test within the constraints of the test plan
- Troubleshoots and recommends resolution of basic laboratory and test-related problems
-Facilitates systems integration, fabrication and modification; supports system pre-test setup, integration, checkout, and post-test tear-down
- Conducts routine tests, analyzes data and documents results
- Works under general supervision

This position is expected to be 100% onsite. The selected candidate will be required to work onsite at one of the listed location options.
This position must meet Export Control compliance requirements, therefore a “US Person” as defined by 22 C.F.R.§120.15 is required. “US Person” includes US Citizen, lawful permanent resident, refugee, or asylee.

Basic Qualifications (Required Skills/Experience):
- 1+ years of experience collecting data from multiple sources, performing analysis and presenting data
- 1+ years of experience in supporting manufacturing or test operations
- 1+ years of experience with reading and interpreting technical documents and/or drawings
- 1+ years of experience with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, and PowerPoint

Preferred Qualifications (Desired Skills/Experience):
- Experience with Visio
- Experience in Instrumentation
- Control and data acquisition systems experience
- Experience with sensors, data acquisition systems, control systems and components

Typical Education/Experience:
- Education/experience typically acquired through advanced education (e.g. Associate) and typically 1 or more years' related work experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience (e.g. Bachelor, 3 years' related work experience, etc.).
