The Cadwell Service Technician is responsible for troubleshooting and repair of specific Cadwell products, with direction and support from the Service Lead. Provides technical phone support to customers and vendors for specific Cadwell products. This position is located at company headquarters in Kennewick, WA.

Key Functions / Responsibilities:
- Works effectively in a team environment
- Performs repair operations on specific Cadwell products
- Follows established policies and procedures
- Follows correct administrative procedures with regard to policies and pricing
- Interacts with customers and vendors on a technical support level for specific Cadwell products
- Performs other duties as requested, directed, or assigned

Education / Experience:
- Associate degree in electronics, vocational degree, or equivalent required
- One year experience preferred

Skills / Job Knowledge / Abilities:
- Working knowledge of resistor, capacitor, and other electronic component identification
- Knowledge of basic technical skills, such as soldering and component removal and replacement
- The ability to follow written and oral direction
- Knowledge of schematics and other electronic documentation
- Ability to learn and understand the operations and technical aspects of Cadwell products
- Must be able to work under pressure and handle clients professionally
- Ability to provide technical phone support to Cadwell customers
- Ability to effectively troubleshoot computer hardware/software issues
- Must be computer literate, experience with MS Office environments a positive
- Good written and oral communication skills
- Requires the following physical activities: reaching, bending, stooping, squatting, crawling, kneeling, pushing, pulling, lifting and carrying up to 50 pounds, finger dexterity, repetitive motions, standing, walking, sitting, hearing, visual acuity, color vision, and talking
