Job Description:
Position Title: Apprentice Automation Technician
Location: Vancouver, WA
Work schedule: Monday through Friday, 8:00 am to 5:00 pm
Regional travel to customer sites required, up to 50%.

How will you CONTRIBUTE and GROW?
You will perform service work on plasma and/or oxy/fuel cutting systems, and robots. This includes installation, preventative maintenance, onsite troubleshooting and service, component repair, and performing component upgrades. You will work as part of a collaborative team while ensuring a safe working environment.

In particular, you will:
- Ensure machines are tested, calibrated, and running according to manufacturer’s specifications.
- Ensure proper service documentation is completed in a timely and accurate manner.
- Attend a minimum of two weeks of company paid training per year focused on advancing your ability to serve our customer base.
- Travel to customer sites to service and maintain customer equipment.
- First year training requirements could exceed a total of 12 weeks to obtain the proper baseline knowledge in manufacturers certifications.

Are you a MATCH?
- Associate Degree in welding preferred; technical school, work experience, or electrical and electronic knowledge could supersede educational requirements.
- Experience operating large equipment such as CNC tables, high voltage electrical equipment and power sources.
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, safety data sheets, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Must be able to work in a drug-free workplace.
