Job Description:
DARcor & Associates, Inc. is an established electrical engineering firm specializing in the design and construction oversight of projects within the water, wastewater, and local industrial facility markets. Our team works on projects throughout Arizona, New Mexico, Utah, California, and American Samoa. DARcor is seeking an Electrical Design Engineer to join our team in Phoenix, AZ. Key Responsibilities of this roll include:
-Prepare biddable Construction Documents (Plans and Specifications).
-Capability to work on multiple projects of varying complexity simultaneously.
-Work as a team member with our designers and drafters to meet multiple project deadlines.
-Prepare technical memos, reports, and evaluations.
-Assist with electrical equipment shop drawing/submittal/O&M manual reviews, site observations, factory acceptance testing, facility/equipment startup and testing, record drawings, as-built drawing reviews, etc.

Minimum Qualifications:
-Associate's or Bachelor’s Degree preferred but not required.
-Understand industrial process flow, process control, equipment, and instrumentation used throughout the water, wastewater, stormwater, remediation, aquifer storage and recovery (ASR), mining, and food handling/processing industries.
-Motor control and VFD design.
-Strong working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook.
-Strong organizational and management skills.
-Strong problem solving and troubleshooting skills.
-Knowledge of the National Electrical Code.
-Knowledge of NFPA 820, NFPA 30, UL-508A and related Codes/Standards.
-Knowledge of common industrial communication protocols.
-Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
-Proficient technical writing skills.
-Valid driver’s license and must be a U.S. Citizen due to contractual obligations.

Full-time position: $50,000.00 - $100,000.00 per year salary depending on experience level
Schedule: Monday to Friday
