Job Description:
Casne Engineering is seeking entry-level engineers to join our professional services team for industrial plant, utility, and critical facilities monitoring. You will assist with analyzing customer operational and business needs then designing, installing, testing, and supporting real-time monitoring of critical systems. Primary responsibilities include working within a cross functional team to apply best practices approaches to solving common challenges in data centers and other critical facilities. Candidates should have strong interest in configuring and integrating products and technologies common to electrical power infrastructure in an data center context. Candidates must exhibit a confident, professional, and positive demeanor and have a genuine interest in helping others succeed with engineering and technology.

Required (Technical)

BSEE, BSCE, or related technical degree
Natural troubleshooting and problem solving ability
0-3 years experience installing, configuring, managing, and supporting modern computer hardware and software products
Understanding and interest in electrical power measurement and other real-world sensors
Understanding and interest in real-time data collection, aggregation, analysis, and visualization
Strong attention to detail and work quality
Deep respect for operational integrity, safety, and uptime in critical environments
Strong documentation skills and ability to fully capture work performed and processes followed
Ability to clearly communicate technical information to non-technical users, both verbally and in writing

Required (Business)

Authorization to work within the U.S.
Ability to relocate to within 30 minutes of Bellevue, WA 98006 (temporarily waived with remote work currently in place during COVID19)
Reliable transportation and valid driver’s license
Compliant with criminal background check requirements
Ability to travel to customer locations as required to research existing conditions, coordinate with third parties, configure systems, and commission final solutions

Also Desirable

Experience with industrial instrumentation, control systems, networks, and human-machine interface solutions
Experience with products from OSIsoft, Wonderware, GE, Inductive Automation, Timescale
Software development experience (C#, .NET, HTML, CSS, JSON, JavaScript, etc.)
ITIL knowledge/certification
Unix / Linux and LAMP stack experience
