SCOPE:
The Operations Technician is responsible for supporting the safe, reliable, and efficient operations of the Helium Distribution Center. The position will require a strong focus on cryogenic liquid transfer, high pressure gas filling, and analytical chemistry. The role will include but not limited to performing routine maintenance, troubleshooting, repairs, calibrations and installations. The candidate must have demonstrated ability to work across departmental lines

RESPONSIBILITIES:
•Always maintain the highest degree of personal safety and environmental accountability
•Effectively communicate with fellow operators, technicians, engineers, and managers
•On-call ability required, 24/7 operations
•Have a working knowledge of computers and typical computer programs (i.e. Excel, Word, Power Point, Microsoft Projects)
•Ability to interpret Process & Instrumentation Diagrams
•Basic understanding of cryogenics and heat transfer
•Perform and document preventive maintenance on process equipment

Qualifications:
•High School Diploma or equivalent is required
•Associates in Applied Sciences Degree or equivalent apprenticeship preferred
•2+ years operations experience in an industrial environment
•Willing to be flexible and adhere to a work schedule that will rotate periodically
•Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds.
•Commercial driving experience preferred (Class B 33,000 GVW)
