Job Description:
American Workforce Group has partnered with an Oregon based company to fill multiple positions for Welders for a project they have opening in northern Washington and Southern Oregon. Work is available long term for candidates that are willing to travel.

For consideration Welder Candidates Must:

Pass an unlimited, all-position, thickness FCAW, GMAW, and SMAW qualification test

Pass a cope test

Have the ability to set your own machine for FCAW, GMAW, and SMAW

Willing to travel and commit to extended stay periods for project completion

Job Description for Welder

Comply with all Safety and Company Policies and Procedures

Receive daily instructions and production goals from Supervisor

Maintain safe welding practices while always using proper PPE and Safety Devices

Do the job that is asked of him/her in a timely manner

Maintain positive attitude, willing to work overtime with short notice

Produce quality welds

Read and interpret simple drawings and sketches, including welding specifications

Able to weld from a ladder, in a man basket and at required height and position

Able to identify a bad weld, fix in a timely manner and without being told

Able to solve simple math problems

Cut parts to proper size and fit simple assemblies with torch

Prepare and maintain clean work area, free of trip hazards and any unsafe conditions

Complete other tasks and duties as assigned

Pay is $20.00+ per hour DOE

Per Diem $25 per day w/lodging

$50 per day without lodging

Per Diem Paid on off days if employee does not travel home

Additional Requirements

Background restrictions apply

MUST be able to pass pre employment Drug test to include Marijuana
