This position will perform the following work:
Perform receptionist duties for the Olympic Region Headquarters office including answering incoming phone calls, responding to emails, and directing internal and external customers.
Process incoming and outgoing mail.
Maintain calendars, schedule and arranges meetings for several region conference rooms.
Independently process timesheets, credit card reconciliation, payment vouchers, and in-state travel reimbursements and maintain expense reports.
Maintain inventory records and order office supplies, equipment and usage of agency vehicles.
Prepare, verify and correct invoices and travel vouchers; enters financial data to accounting systems.
Enter and correct payroll/time records prepared by others using customized database.

Required qualifications include:
High school diploma or equivalent.
Two years of increasingly responsible office experience and/or equivalent combination of education/experience.
Experience working with diverse populations in a customer service environment to include deescalating upset customers.
Experience performing accurate and timely data entry in office software programs and databases.
Excellent communication skills both written and verbal.
Preferred qualifications include:
Technologically savvy: ability to quickly learn an array of WSDOT specific software and proficient with Microsoft applications.
Experience with payroll records and/or reports.
Experience as a receptionist answering incoming calls, greeting customers, and professionally representing an organization.
