Apprentice Electrician 3rd and 4th yr.
Premier is seeking 3rd and 4th Year Licensed Electrical Apprentices. An Electrical Apprentice will assist a Journeyman or Master Electrician to install and repair electrical wiring, fixtures, and equipment by performing the following duties.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
•Plan and complete new installations or modify existing infrastructure - minimizing waste of materials, maintaining NEC code, customer requirements, and Premier Technology standards.
•Read blueprints, prepare sketches, and maintain documentation of the work process and completed project.
•Troubleshoot circuitry in new and existing electrical systems, repair or recommend corrective action.
•Plan and install conduit runs, pull and terminate wiring. Wire motors, controls, lighting, switches, relays, panels, instrumentation, and other industrial complex needs.
•A high degree of travel is strong requirement of this job.
May perform other routine duties. *High school diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience for Electrical Apprenticeship 1 and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Two to three years related experience for 3rd Year Electrical Apprenticeship and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Three to four years related experience for 4th Year Electrical Apprentice and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience. Current Idaho Electrical Apprentice license required.

While performing the duties of an apprentice electrician 3rd and 4th yr., the employee is frequently required to walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms and climb or balance. The job requires frequent climbing of ladders and stairs. The employee will often lift heavy wire, pull wire through conduit, work with arms overhead, torso twist, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl and talk and hear. The employee is frequently required to stand, often for extended periods; the employee must frequently lift and /or move up to 25 pounds, regularly lift and/or move up to 50 pounds and occasionally lift and/or move weight above 50 pounds. Long hours (12 or more) are regularly scheduled. Specific vision abilities required by this job include strong visual acuity (with or without correction), color vision, peripheral vision and depth perception.
*While performing the duties of an apprentice electrician 3rd and 4th yr., the employee is frequently exposed to moving mechanical parts and risk of electrical shock. The employee is occasionally exposed to high, precarious places; outside weather conditions and vibration. The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
