This position is located on a Forest Service Job Corps Civilian Conservation Center.
The position assists students, peers, and subordinates in understanding the relevance of the development of positive social skills through modeling appropriate behavior and teaching employability skills for workplace success.

Processes all new student files using Department of Labor computerized recordkeeping system.
Maintains and accurately updates file system to enable quick and efficient retrieval of information.
Makes travel arrangements in accordance with appropriate travel regulations for students.
Responsible for answering phones and directing calls; handling incoming and outgoing mail distributing to correct destination.
May function as principal cashier, and as such, is responsible for ensuring security, accountability and accurate maintenance of fund(s).
Provides guidance and leadership to students that may be assigned to the incumbents unit as part of a Work Based Learning program.
Conditions of Employment
Must be a U.S. Citizen or National.
Males born after 12-31-59 must be registered for Selective Service or exempt.
Subject to satisfactory adjudication of background investigation and/or fingerprint check.
Successful completion of one-year probationary period, unless previously served.
