Day to day:
General Mechanical Skill: Inspection, fasteners, torque, bearings, gear rations, plumbing/ pipefitting basics, steam and pneumatic basics, critical thinking/ troubleshooting, understanding of cam operation, general electrical troubleshooting
Pasteurizer/ blending system maintenance: pump maintenance/ troubleshooting, sanitary design, gearboxes, steam and pneumatic component maintenance
Servos or Robotics (Delta Robots): Basic servo operation, encoder operation, troubleshooting servo issues (understanding alarm codes, acting on alarms), on-screen adjustments -picking/ placing position
Packaging: Pouch filler, delta robots, cartons/ case folding, conveyors
Indoor in the packaging area. The maintenance technicians maintain lines 2 techs to every 3 lines.
Swing Shift: 1:45 PM- 10:15 PM
Night Shift: 10:00 PM- 6:30 AM
During their training, they will only work 5 days a week, but once fully trained then they will be working 6 days a week any were from 48-60 hours. All OT is paid time and a half. Busiest season is from Mid-October-May. Occasionally technicians are laid off for up to 3 weeks in July, but they can take PTO or unemployment and will be welcomed back starting August 1 when they will be rebuilding the lines.
UNION FACILITY so will be required to pay union dues.
