The Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) assists health professionals throughout clinical areas with various aspects of patient care. Duties include, but are not limited to: rooming patients, taking vitals, assisting with exams, conducting basic lab & sterilization procedures, basic pharmacology, medical coding/billing, and scheduling. Our staff strives to work at the top of their scope and delivers compassionate, quality patient care.
Schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:45 am - 4:45 pm
Education: High school diploma/GED required.
Experience: One year of clinical experience preferred.
License/Certification: Current Certified Medical Assistance license required. Must have/obtain CPR certification within 3 months of hire.
Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Bilingual (English/Spanish) language skills preferred. Strong problem-solving, communication and computer skills required. Knowledgeable regarding current standards of practice and competencies of CMA’s as endorsed by the WA State Department of Health. Ability to work rotating schedules including evenings & weekends.
