Instrument Technologies, Inc. is seeking an Instrument/Calibration Field Technician based in the Seattle, WA area. This opening will be filled in November, 2019.
This position requires an A.A.S. Degree in electronics/instrumentation or equivalent training and experience.
The potential candidate must have the ability to learn technical information quickly - often on their own through reference material, using factory support personnel, and through our in-house knowledge base. Attention to detail, and the ability to record detailed documentation is required.
Skills utilizing Microsoft Office Excel, working knowledge of SCADA systems, DCS, Programmable Logic Controllers and other process instrumentation will be beneficial.
This position involves working indoors and outdoors in all climate conditions while walking and/or climbing with heavy test equipment. The majority of the time will be spent in the field performing calibrations in the Seattle area, but territory coverage will extend across Washington and other areas of the U.S. Periodic overnight project travel will be required.
