Job Description:
General Summary:
The application records processor assist the Assistant Director of Applications in activities concerning prospective students, under the direction of the Director of Enrollment Services. Duties includes data entry, document management, customer service, and participation in on-campus activities. The position requires a student/customer service oriented individual familiar with general university procedures, policies, services, and ability to assist any student, potential student, their families, faculty, staff, and university visitors at all times.

Essential Job Functions:
• Communication with customers
o Provide consistent quality customer service to all persons via phone, in-person, and email
o Manage office mail and email accounts
o Review website for accuracy and submit update requests
o Respond to prospective student inquiries regarding application procedures/admission requirements and status of their application
o Provide campus tours for individuals and groups
• Accurate data entry and document management
o Manage and process incoming and outgoing mail
o Assist in collecting, processing, or distributing submitted hard copy and electronic documents, criminal background reports, letters of recommendation, immunizations, matriculation documents, transcripts, etc.
o Data enter to student information system; inquiry information, application updates, application notes, interview results, etc.
o Advanced word processing; mail merge, create forms, compose and edit documents, update standard operating procedures
o Process applications and calculation of application ratings
• Office support
o Assist with preparing for and participating in interview days; prepare necessary forms, greet and brief applicants, interact in a friendly, informative, and professional manner
o Assist with preparing for and participating in enrollment services activities; graduation, open house, etc.
o General office machines and equipment
o Manage inventory of supplies
• Understands accreditation standards and expectations specific to the department and adheres to policies and procedures to meet or exceed such standards
• Conducts self appropriately and consistently in accordance with the philosophy and mission of PNWU
• Other duties as assigned
• Required: High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: Two years college

• Required: Two years of related experience. Additional education may be substituted for years of work experience.

Desired Skills, Knowledge and Abilities:
Strong organization skills and attention to detail; strong verbal and written communication skills including punctuation, spelling and grammar; intermediate to advanced Microsoft Office Suite experience; ability to plan ahead, anticipate office needs, and take initiative to prepare; ability to work in a team and flexibility to work with others in a variety of circumstances; ability to problem solve by analyzing issues and creating action plans; ability to manage projects and people and prioritize and self-direct work flow; ability to work with and manage different computer programs and databases; ability to schedule activities and/or meetings.
