SCADA TECHNICIAN Job Announcement
The Alderwood Water & Wastewater District (AWWD) is accepting applications for a SCADA Technician position in the Maintenance & Operations Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for conducting preventative and corrective maintenance on SCADA and telemetry systems, applicable instrumentation, controls, and power distribution systems. This position is directly supervised by the SCADA/Electrical Manager and may receive direction and training from the SCADA System Specialist or the SCADA Lead.
Any equivalent combination of education and experience that provides the applicant with the knowledge, skills, and abilities necessary to perform the job is required for this position. A typical way to obtain the required knowledge, skills, and abilities would be two years of progressively responsible experience in SCADA system maintenance, instrumentation and electronics, and two years of higher education in Instrumentation and Industrial Automation or a related field. A valid Washington State Driver’s License is required. Electrical certification at least at the level of an (06) Limited Energy Systems or higher is desirable.
Starting monthly salary range is $32.56 - $43.63 per hour, dependent upon experience.
