Solarity Credit Union is seeking a Business Development Officer (BDO) for our Tri-Cities Loan Production Office.
The mission for our BDO is to create extraordinary experiences for current and potential business members by:
Identify and build ongoing lending relationships with investors of residential investment multifamily properties.
Identify and build ongoing relationships with centers of influence (COIs) who can refer multifamily investors to whom you can lend (commercial realtors, property management professionals, title companies, investment groups, lenders/MLOs, etc...)
Provide financing to residential multifamily investors who wish to:
Refinance or Cash-Out Refinance
Build on hold with our one-time close construction program
Finance multifamily properties in Washington, Oregon, and Idaho
Create extraordinary by understanding their financial situation, anticipating their needs and guiding them through complex financial decisions better than any other provider.
Build and maintain relationships with businesses that will provide mutually beneficial and sustainable revenue streams for the Credit Union while delivering substantial value to the Member business.
Be a highly capable financial counselor that routinely refers deposit products and deepens member share of wallet using cooperative relationship principles while growing profitability.

A Day in the life of Business Development Officer...
As a Business Development Officer with Solarity, your typical day/week may include:
A morning huddle to kick off your outbound look-ahead agenda for the week
A coaching meeting with your Manager for idea exchange on pull throughs on your deals
Pre-set meetings with professional clients or COI to discuss their keys to success and business goals
An on-site meeting with a trades client to discuss financing options for new investment real estate acquisition.
Financial and underwriting discussion with a credit analyst, who helps structure your deal to ensure the best outcome for the member
Taking part in, demonstrating, and perpetuating our world-class culture
Attending loan closings
