-Develop complete electrical hardware design within the bounds set by the project scope as outline in the final project proposal, and from minimal input from the Lead Engineers and Project Managers
-Solely responsible for the accuracy of the drawing package when it is released to manufacturing
-Specify and size components as needed to complete the electrical design with minimal input from Lead Engineers and Project Managers
-Independently size circuits per relevant recognized codes (IE: UL 508A, NFPA 70, NFPA 79, and CE)
-Verify component suitability
-Develop panel layouts per company standards
-Calculate internal panel heat loads and evaluate cooling requirement
-Create and develop electrical and mechanical detail drawings, assembly drawings, electrical schematics and wiring diagrams from various versions of prints, rough drawings, sketches and bills of materials
-Revise drawings from redlines
-Work closely with project engineers, assembly technicians and sales team
-Work independently as well as under direction
-Review drawings for accuracy and completeness
-Attention to detail
-Usage and knowledge of established standards and symbol libraries
-Thorough understanding of AutoCAD; preferably AutoCAD Electrical

Education and/or Experience:
Associates or B.S. degree in Electrical Engineering or related field preferred
Over 5 years of Controls Design Experience & Drafting experience required
