Position Overview:
- Assists as Service Resource for Remote/Onsite Diagnostics and Repair
- Assists as Project Resource for Onsite Tasks
- Performs Client Quarterly Proactive Maintenance Visits
- Performs Hardware Installations (network gear, workstations, servers, etc.)
- Assists with Removal and Disposal of Old Hardware
- Project Resource - Works closely with Project Director to ensure that project is kept on budget. Follows scope of work closely and gets approval for out of scope requests.
- Helpdesk Resource - Works closely with Tech Lead to make sure that onsite visit is kept within the scope of assigned ticket. Gets approval for work outside of assigned ticket.

What does "winning" look like in this position?
- Winning in this position requires being able to resolve onsite issues with a high level of accuracy when diagnosing an issue and being able to resolve the issue in a quick efficient manner.
- When something is found onsite, such as an antiquated piece of hardware or something that could be an issue in the near future, the onsite tech should be able to have a sales related conversation with the onsite tech contact and report back to the sales team on any leads that may have come from that conversation.
- Open up tickets to follow up with anything discovered onsite. Assign to the appropriate team (sales, project, etc.)
- When an onsite tech has finished their tasks, the business contact should be happy with the results of the onsite.
- The onsite tech should always be prepared, and carry an assortment of video adapters, networking tools and mounting hardware for switch racks or wall mounted devices.
- When onsite at a client’s place of business, onsite technicians should take the utmost care to be personable, pleasant and knowledgeable as they are often times the face of the company. They should uphold the company values and demonstrate them.
