Position will diagnose and repair Agriculture equipment including balers, combines, windrowers and tractors at customer locations. Essential duties and responsibilities include but are not limited to:
Analyzing and diagnosing (troubleshooting) equipment malfunctions or failures.
Repairing, replacing and/or rebuilding engines, transmissions, final drives, steering, clutches, cross shafts, hydraulic components, electrical systems and air systems.
Delivering equipment to locations in a safe, accurate and timely manner.
Maintaining truck (equipment) in safe, proper working conditions through performing daily inspections of truck and equipment.
Confirming cargo is loaded properly, safely and not overloaded, as per all State and Federal regulations.
Preparing all required documentation accurately and timely.
Maintaining a safe working environment and observing all safety laws, policies, OSHA regulations, DOT regulations, policies and rules.
Applicants must have 3 plus years’ experience working on all makes and models of Agriculture equipment to work in the field and heavy haul experience with detachable gooseneck, Cargo Van, and hydraulic beaver tail type trailers. Lowboy experience preferred. Will need to be proficient with e-logs and/or log books, record keeping, permitting and state laws, and working with pilot vehicles. Must have a clean DMV record, current medical certificate, and a valid Class A CDL (air brake) combination license. Must be assertive, a self-starter, and able to work without direct supervision.
