The Engineer's primary responsibility is for the general maintenance and repair of the physical building, all of the utility systems and the various medical and supportive systems that fall under facility management/s area of responsibility. The purpose is to maintain a high level of safety and efficiency in the infrastructure and all the systems.
HVAC control background or an instrumentation background preferred.
QUALIFICATIONS AND REQUIREMENTS:
Education: High school diploma or equivalent preferred. Building training and/or trade school education in specific pertinent fields preferred. (May be required for Engineer II)
Experience: Engineer I: Minimum of two years experience in building maintenance preferred.
Engineer II: Minimum of 5 years building maintenance experience preferred.
Licenses/Certificates/Registration: Current Washington State driver's license and proof of automobile liability insurance coverage required.
Level of Business Knowledge/Knowledge/Skills/Abilities: Must have the ability to work a flexible schedule and cover all areas and shifts as needed. Needs to have the willingness and capability to learn the basics of various hospital systems.
