Graf Investments is currently seeking a talented, part-time Accounting Assistant. Job Summary:
The Accounts Payable Assistant is primarily responsible for assisting with the accounts payable process. This position enters vendor invoices, assists with reconciling vendor statements, processes purchase order receiving, and assists with payment processing.

Essential Functions:
•Assists with payroll
•Responsible for the timely data entry of accounts payable invoices and credit card receipts.
•Respond to inquiries received in accounts payable emails from vendors and the employees.
•Prepare accounts payable checks and send to vendors in a timely manner.
•Responsible for reconciling vendor statements, researching discrepancies and answering vendor phone inquiries.
•Create and maintain vendor files including payments, backup documentation, correspondence, invoices and statements.
•Assist in answering multi-line phone system and direct calls accordingly for company.
•Assist accounting with special projects.
•Assists with W-9 collection.
•Assist in month end accounting close as needed.
•Other duties as assigned
•Comprehensive computer skills are required for this position

•Ability to professionally and effectively communicate with team members, vendors, and customers via written and verbal communication methods.

•Ability to work with team members, and customers in a friendly and positive manner.
•Advanced knowledge and skills in computerized accounting systems and knowledge of company-specific software. Proficiency in standard computer software, application programs and e-mail.

•Ability to use judgment and discretion.
•Ability to handle stressful situations and effectively plan and organize duties to meet deadlines.
•Ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
•Ability to work with concentration, accuracy, and attention to detail.
•Ability to analyze and resolve complex issues, both logical and interpersonal.
•Ability to participate in and facilitate team meetings.

Job Type: Full-time

Salary: $29,120.00 to $31,200.00 /year
