Overview: ANR Group is in search of an experienced Commercial Refrigeration Systems Service Technician to join our client’s team. The successful candidate will service and maintain commercial refrigeration systems in and around Tri-Cities, WA including the areas of Walla Walla, Yakima, Othello and Moses Lake. This position is expected to be the foundation for the expansion of corporate operations servicing an existing and expanding client base throughout the region.

Install, service, repair and maintain industrial and commercial refrigeration systems primarily in grocery stores. Perform preventative maintenance in order to avoid future problems or breakdowns. Ability to work on mechanical and electrical components and complete various tasks pertaining to the operation of refrigeration systems.
•Installation of New Refrigeration Systems
oInstall new climate-control systems in commercial and industrial new construction and retrofit projects
oRead blueprints and schematics, understand compliance standards and proficient in local building codes
oLay out reference points for the installation of structural and functional components
oLay out and drill holes and cut chases and channels, set and erect belts, inserts, stands, brackets, hangers, supports, sleeves, thimbles, conduits and hoses
oLay out, cut, thread, bend and connect pipe to functional components and water or power systems of premises
oMove, lift and install compressors, pumps, motors, controls, switches, gauges, valves, condensers, evaporators and other fixtures and appurtenances included in such systems
oBolt, rivet, weld, braze and solder parts to structural and functional components
oAll clean up work required in connection with installation
•Repair and Upgrade of Refrigeration Systems
oDiagnose problems and make repairs to existing equipment
oApply troubleshooting methods, replace parts and run tests to ensure the system is working properly following repairs
oUpgrade existing systems to satisfy new regulations or meet new standards
•Maintain Existing Refrigeration Systems
oPerform preventative maintenance on refrigeration systems following checklist of parts and operations that need to be tested during routine inspection of existing equipment such as compressors, condensers, electrical connections and motor operations

Must possess strong analytical, problem solving and organizational skills. Work independently with little to no supervision but also perform in a team environment. Good math, communication and basic computer skills are essential. Position requires the ability to stand, kneel, stoop and bend for extended periods of time
•Understanding of the operations of commercial and industrial refrigeration systems
•Diagnosing malfunctions and defects in equipment
•Reading blueprints, and electrical and electronic schematics
•Proficient with electrical and plumbing concepts
•Operating tools, gauges and other testing equipment for refrigeration systems
•Knowledge of basic construction methods
•Possess a mechanical and/or electrical license
