Fives Lund, LLC is seeking an Electrical Technician III in our Seattle, Washington facility. As an Electrical Technician III you will join a valuable team of technicians building custom-engineered solutions for advanced equipment in a variety of highly technical industries.

Job Summary:
The Electrical Technician III should have a minimum of three (3) years of experience with firm knowledge of electrical schematics and electrical theory, which is essential for reading line schematics and troubleshooting electrical circuits. The incumbent must possess strong attention to detail to decipher prints and terminate wires. The incumbent must have a strong ability to comprehend blueprints, learn and master new schematics, and size electrical components in accordance with NEC and NFPA requirements. Finally, the incumbent will be a leader in managing one or more electrical technician team members, and have demonstrated success in managing and delivering varying scopes of work in the shop and at client sites.

Specific Skills & Requirements:
In addition to being a driven individual that is passionate about expanding your career in the field of automation and industrial controls, you should have a minimum of (3) years experience in the following:
•Excellent electrical aptitude including ability to read and redline drawings and schematics.
•The ability to identify the color-coded components that are often used in electronic equipment.
•Experience with industrial automation systems including feeder and branch circuits, servo systems, PLC controllers, VFDs, 480VAC 3-phase, and 24VDC voltage power distribution and layout.
•Experience complying with NEC and NFPA 79 requirements and regulations.
•Experience with troubleshooting industrial automation systems.
•Trouble shooting skills: The ability to identify problems with equipment and systems and make the necessary repairs.
•Experience with troubleshooting electrical circuits using a multimeter.
•Experience with bending electrical conduit.
•Basic computer skills including MS Office, and experience with or a willingness to learn AutoCAD software suites.
•Ability to use hand tools and power tools in a safe and efficient manner.
•Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform tasks such as repetitive bending, reaching, and working in tight spaces.
•Willingness to travel up to 50% locally (Greater Seattle region) and up to 10% nationally / overseas.
•Experience building certified electrical panels a plus
•Communication skills: Ability to understand descriptions of problems and explain solutions in a clear manner.
