The PACCAR Technical Center is looking for a full time Instrumentation Technician to support all aspects of data acquisition.

Division Information:
The PACCAR Technical Center provides engineering excellence to the truck, engine, and winch divisions of PACCAR Inc through innovative product development and testing. The Technical Center is located in the Skagit Valley about 65 miles north of Seattle, Washington.

Job Functions / Responsibilities:
Typical functions the Instrumentation Technician will perform include:
Specify, procure and install transducers and data acquisition equipment
Configure and operate data acquisition test control software
Prepare data for analysis
Troubleshoot and repair AC and DC circuits
Document tests using Microsoft Office suite
Calibrate equipment
Support engineering customers
Operate heavy duty trucks
Contribute to continuous improvement efforts

Qualifications:
2 years of relevant work experience
Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications (Word, Excel, Powerpoint, Outlook, Access) and aptitude to learn new software applications
Ability to use sound judgement to fix issues with equipment and processes
Ability to communicate effectively with technicians, engineers, and managers
Ability to use hand tools and work on heavy duty trucks
Ability to work effectively in an exciting environment with shifting timelines and project demands
Highly motivated individual seeking opportunities in proffessional development and process improvement

Knowledge and experience in the following areas is preferred:
Controller Area Networks (CAN)
Computer networking and programming
Heavy duty truck driving
Ability to work both independently and in a team environment

Education :
AA degree in Instrumentation Technology, Electronics Technology, or related degree
