Refrigeration Technician General Description:
Install and repair marine, industrial and commercial refrigeration systems.
Duties and responsibilities:
•Install, troubleshoot, repair, service, and maintain marine and industrial refrigeration systems on fishing vessels, factory trawlers, oil rigs and at various commercial locations
•Track time spent on jobs by completing service orders and obtaining signatures from customers
•Complete technician billing sheets for every job at the completion of job
•Work with Accounts Receivable to timely, accurately, and profitably invoice customer
•Maintain organized work space, including shop and vehicle
•Serve as a professional and courteous liaison between the company and customer
Qualifications and Skills
•Must have mechanical ability and working knowledge of electrical systems
•Must be comfortable working on boats and over water
•Able to work under pressure
•Needs to be a team player and flexible
•Willing to work overtime and travel locally, nationally, and internationally
•Self-motivated and able to take direction
•Punctual, reliable and able to maintain a clean work space
•Eye for detail and ability to execute top quality work
•Organized, professional, and compliant with safety protocols and paperwork procedures
Desired Qualifications and Skills
•Journeyman’s License preferred required
•Industrial and Marine Refrigeration 2 years experience preferred
•PLC/Automation/Electrician experience preferred
•Project Management experience preferred
