Instrumentation Technician General Summary:
Test, calibrate, install, troubleshoot, repair, and inspect monitoring and control devices. Perform general scheduled and preventative maintenance on the equipment.
Full-time position.

CORE FUNCTIONS:
-Install, maintain and troubleshoot monitoring and control equipment installations.
-Complete various manual labor tasks such as (but not limited to) mounting poles, digging in soil, running wire,
and climbing ladders.
-Express a pleasant, positive customer and employee relations
-Maintains rapport with customers by examining complaints; identifying solutions; suggesting improved methods
and techniques; recommending system improvements.
-Serves existing accounts by analyzing work orders; planning daily travel schedule; investigating complaints;
conducting tests; resolving problems.
-Establishes service by studying system requirements; ordering and gathering components and parts; completing
installation; performing acceptance tests.
-Documents service and installation actions by completing forms, reports, logs, and records.
-Keeps personal equipment operating by following operating instructions; troubleshooting breakdowns;
maintaining supplies; performing preventive maintenance; calling for repairs.
-Work autonomously and alongside other MeasureTek and Field Staff.
-Work safely in extreme weather conditions (hot, cold, wet, windy).
-Work in confined spaces or at heights up to 30ft.
-Drive in a safe and legal manner
-Basic proficiency with Microsoft Word/Excel/internet browsers, able to work with a GPS handheld device.
-Must be presentable and follow on-site dress code.

REPORTING:
Reports to the Operations Lead

QUALIFICATIONS:
-Associates degree with Instrumentation and/or Agricultural training
-Must be able to lift 50 lbs. and operate hand power tools, such as (but not limited to) drills and reciprocating saws.
-Available Monday through Friday 8am until 5pm, with occasional work outside of these time frames
-Willing to travel across the Pacific Northwest, including overnight stays for projects that require overnight stays.
-Valid driver’s license.
-Successful completion of a background check
