Maintains all electronic instrumentation used to monitor and control oil field service equipment.
•Repairs, and trains others to repair, electronic instrumentation and automation equipment used to monitor and control well servicing equipment including pressure, flow, temperature and density devices.
•Calibrates and trains others to calibrate electronic monitoring and control equipment.
•Uses in-depth knowledge gained from training and technical manuals to diagnose and repair equipment failures.
•Completes all paperwork accurately and efficiently.
•Able to start up and run basic functions in cement, fracturing, coil tubing and nitrogen equipment.
•Assists in training less experienced Electronic Technicians and follows up on their repairs.
•Assists with coordination of daily work assignments.
•Assists in maintaining inventory of replacement parts.
•Operates light duty trucks.
•Drives Company vehicles over various types of road conditions and terrain, including highways, rural roads with paved and gravel surface, and off road situations including two track roads.
•Performs general housekeeping and routine maintenance of Company property.
•Follows and supports all Pioneer HSE policies at all times.
•Knows and uses appropriate PPE at all times.
•Willing and able to make schedule adjustments when required and work alternate shifts as requested by supervisor.
•Willing and able to be on call nights and/or holidays.
•Performs other/additional duties as assigned by Supervisor
•High school education or equivalent.
•Technical Associate’s degree preferred.
•Basic to advanced knowledge of electronic instrumentation and automation equipment.
•Basic to advanced knowledge of perforating, fracturing, coil tubing and nitrogen operations.
•Basic knowledge of inventory processes.
•6 months to 4 years’ experience maintaining and repairing electronic instrumentation and automation equipment on well servicing equipment, or equivalent.
•Associate degree or higher in relevant field may be considered in lieu of one year of experience.
•Salary competitive and commensurate with qualifications and experience.
