We are currently seeking highly qualified candidates for a Irrigation Supervisor to join our team in Paterson, WA.

What you will do:
Direct, train, and supervise irrigation staff.
Coordinate and schedule all irrigation operations assuring proper set-up, operation and maintenance; monitor inventory and make recommendations on purchasing parts; perform irrigation repairs.
Monitor soil moisture, vine growth and analyze those with local climatic data to create irrigation schedule.
Conduct measurements to determine water availability using Enviro Scan Irrigation Probes.
Log and maintain records including payroll and irrigation application and other documentation.
Ensure understanding and compliance with all federal, state and company policies regarding safe work practices and utilization of equipment, ensuring the understanding and proper use of all personal protective equipment.
Oversee the application of fertilizers and sanitizers and assure they are applied in a safe manner at the recommended rates.
Assist in the preparation of budgets and monitoring costs related to irrigation equipment and parts.
Supervising field crews.
Work extended hours and weekends during harvest and peak irrigation periods.
60% of work is performed outside in all weather conditions.
Perform other work-related duties as assigned.

What you will bring:
HS Diploma, technical coursework preferred.
Ability to read, write, speak and understand English. Bilingual capabilities (English/Spanish) preferred.
Previous experience operating and maintaining drip irrigation systems and all applicable equipment.
Proven ability to supervise, train and motivate employees and provide direction.
Computer literacy required for operation of automated irrigation system. Knowledge of Word, Excel required and Micro Soft.
Possession of a valid driver’s license.
Ability to become ATV certified within three months of employment.
Possession of Washington State Pesticide Applicator’s License preferred.
Able to operate backhoe and forklift and become certified within three months of start date in the position.
