Job Description:
Building Automation Systems (BAS) Service Project Manager
HoladayBAS Service projects, from start to project close out. They represent our organization to our
customers, other contractors, fellow employees, and our community in a professional manner.
They are effective leaders and communicators, who resolve disputes and negotiate mutually
beneficial solutions, and exhibit ownership for their projects.
Essential Functions
Act as the primary point of contact for BAS and related projects to a large regional account
in the Mission Critical vertical market and other account types.
Meet with primary customer contact(s) weekly (or more often as required) to provide
updates and receive feedback on BAS service-related issues.
Attend weekly owner meetings as required.
Coordinate with BAS technicians and customer contacts to ensure work schedules are
met, including submission of Work Orders, Methods of Procedure, and Material Change
Management paperwork.
Coordinate job walks with BAS technicians and customer contacts.
Manage material procurement, including tracking of shipping/delivery (as needed).
Track and submit Service Agreement Monthly Reports for service invoicing approval.
Work closely with the Regional Operations Manager on service manpower requirements.
Communicate service issues, updates and scheduling changes to the Controls Director &
Regional Operations Manager on a weekly basis
Provide input to the BAS Sales team to support the budgeting process.
Manage overall tracking, scheduling, and invoice coordination for multiple sites.
BAS Service Project Managers may be located in the main office or on the jobsite, and may
support multiple projects when required.
Education/Experience/Qualifications
Four years of college-level construction management training, OR three years of
construction project management experience required
Minimum three years of experience in the Building Automation Industry, and a strong
understanding of its relationship with mechanical and electrical systems
Working knowledge of MS Outlook, Word, Excel, and Project (or equivalent) required
Minimum two years of experience with Niagra Platform required
Tridium AX and/or Distech Controls Certifications preferred
Excellent oral and written communication skills
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
Physical Requirements
Frequent computer use
Ability to see and hear well (naturally or with correction), and speak clearly
Continuous sitting, standing, and bending, and repetitive motions of hand and wrist
