Job Description:
Under the general supervision of the Director of Technology – End User Support the IT Systems Analyst provides support and training to credit union staff in the use of office automation products, personal computers, on-line application systems, user based peripherals, etc. The Analyst will also analyze and resolve end user hardware and software computer problems in a timely and accurate fashion, and provide end user training where required.

•Train credit union staff to use standard PC-based office automation software tools by providing formal training and coordinating third-party training providers.
•Create, modify and implement reports from departmental database systems as requested.
•Assist in troubleshooting, maintenance, and repair of PCs, printers, terminals, etc., coordinating with technical support and vendors as necessary.
•Coordinate with other Information Technology (IT) staff to resolve hardware, software and network problems.
•Provide limited assistance to users developing applications with the standard user products; Notify users of new useful features available through product updates.
•Install end-user hardware and PC software; ensure that credit union employees know how to care for and maintain their terminals, printers, and PCs and understand procedures for data backup, network access, etc.
•Ensure administrative control over the end-user hardware and software assets of the credit union, as well as related supplies and accessories, through maintenance of inventories, files, logs, etc.
•Must understand and perform Bank Secrecy Act (BSA) functions as applicable to job responsibilities.
•Attend credit union training sessions, conferences, or seminars as approved by supervisor. Maintain awareness of policies and regulations related to duties and responsibilities.
•Maintain inventory of credit union’s hardware and software.
•Provide friendly, professional and accurate service and support to all members and staff.
•Maintain a dependable record of attendance and timeliness.
•Demonstrate support of corporate values, mission and vision. Perform job duties within these standards and in accordance with the guidelines of our bylaws and regulations.
•Maintain and protect all sensitive data utilizing the highest standard of confidentiality and professionalism. Consistently display respect for all areas of diversity and levels of knowledge.

•Evaluate users’ workstations to ensure all required hardware and software is available to the user.

•Ability to organize, prioritize and manage multiple complex tasks.
•Ability to effectively communicate ideas and information, both orally and in writing.
•Strong customer service skills and a good telephone manner.
•Ability to solve problems and exercise sound judgment when performing duties and working with members.
•Ability to analyze information and recommend achievable process improvements to IT Leads or Director of Technology – End User Support.

•Two-year college degree. Major course of study being Network Administration, Computer Science or related major desired. The equivalent completion of specialized courses in the area of information technology and additional related experience shall be recognized as an equivalency to education requirements.
•One to three years of similar or related experience. Experience with network security and firewall hardware and software strongly desired.
•Strong knowledge of Windows Servers, TCP/IP Networking, DHCP, WINS, DNS, VMWare, and Microsoft Active Directory, including group policies and Exchange 2016 strongly desired.
•Must consistently display and maintain courtesy, tact, and diplomacy with current and potential members, peers, and staff.
•Proficient with Microsoft Office programs, software, and standard office equipment.

•Per the Dictionary of Occupational Titles, this is considered a sedentary position.
•Frequent sitting (31-70%)
•Occasional walking and standing (11-30%)
•Ability to lift up to 10 lbs. frequently, including negligible forces
•Ability to lift up to 25+ lbs. on an occasional basis
•Ability to stoop/bend, crawl and kneel on a seldom basis (1-10%)

•Work environment is primarily indoors, in a clean office area.
•Travel to and from Branches is required as well as work outside the office on occasion.
