Ability to effectively and efficiently coordinate and maintain surgery schedule, through effective communication with patients, hospitals, providers and surgical vendors to ensure the patient receives the best care in the quickest manner possible.


•6 months experience as a medical front desk with durable expertise of coding
•6 months related experience and/or training or comparable blend of education and learning and experience.

•High school diploma or GED.

•Medical terminology, ICD-9 (ICD-10 when applicable) / CPT Coding.
•Fundamental typing and keyboarding abilities.
•Strong organizational and social abilities.
•Experience with customer service and multi-line phones.
•Familiarity with computers and additional workplace equipment.

•Certified or Registered Medical Assistant preferred (not required), or 1 year experience in the specialty related field.
Working Conditions & Physical Requirements:

Work is primarily performed in an office setting and is considered sedentary work. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Walking and standing are required only occasionally. Requires exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Requires normal/corrected vision and hearing to normal range. Requires good manual and finger dexterity to operate computers, phones, and handle documents. The worker is not substantially exposed to adverse environmental conditions.
