Key Responsibilities:
• Plan and perform duties involved with testing, evaluation and installation of cathodic protection (CP) systems
• Gather structure-to-soil potential data, soil measurements and rectifier data
• Prepare survey reports including service recommendations
• Sketch physical features of installation sites
• Prepare charts and tables from survey/inspection data
• Diagnose and recommend remedies for system difficulties observed during surveys
• Provide maintenance of field test equipment, ensure good operating condition and complete minor repairs when needed
• Recognize operating deviations and take appropriate corrective actions
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics
• Utilize computers and e-mail for internal and external communication
• Be able to complete jobs as part of a team and independently
• Obtain required certifications

• NACE CP Tester or Electrical certification (preferred)
• 1-2 years of experience in an industrial environment, such as pipeline ROWs, refineries, power plants, etc. (preferred)
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office programs, mainly Word and Excel
• Hands on mechanical and troubleshooting experience
• Strong team, internal customer service skills and problem-solving skills are a must
• Must be able to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
• Must be able to travel to client sites on a regular basis (occasionally traveling overnight or on weekends)
• Must be able to travel up to 50% of the time
• Valid state driver’s license
• Candidate must be a U.S. Citizen and be willing to pursue security clearance at government and private facilities
• Qualified Candidates must be able to pass DOT random drug screening and federal background checks

Physical Requirements and Work Environment
• Wear safety equipment (PPE) while working
• Work on low voltage electrical systems
• Work indoors and outdoors, in and around industrial and electrical equipment
• Work while standing, sitting, lying down, crouched or kneeling
• Able to lift 50 pounds
• Able to walk long distances
• Work in adverse weather conditions
• Write proficiently and interpret a variety of instructions provided in written, verbal or diagram form
• Understand and communicate common industry safety practices
• Climb equipment and work at various heights (up to 200 ft)
