Job Summary:

As an established New Home Builder for over 30 years, Aho Construction is seeking a Construction Field Laborer for our communities in the Tri-Cities & Yakima, WA area. The right candidate will report to the job superintendent and will perform a variety of field labor activities.

Responsibilities and Duties-
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Routine clean up of new home construction sites.
- Removal of trash and construction debris.
- Use a spray machine for erosion control.
- Winter setup of air movers and heat.
- Sweeping of homes to prep for flooring installers.
- General Construction Field Labor.
- Operation of small hand tools.
- Operation of large vehicles such as trailers and dump trucks.

Qualifications and Skills-
EDUCATION AND ADDITIONAL REQUIREMENTS:
- Must have a valid driver's license, CLEAN DRIVING RECORD.
- Team player with excellent communication skills.
- High school diploma or GED required.
- Adhere to attendance and punctuality guidelines for daily work schedules.
- Understand and follow work rules and procedures.
- Follow directions from supervisor(s) and accept constructive criticism.

PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:
Requires the ability to operate a motor vehicle, climb a ladder, bend, stoop, reach, lift, move and/or carry equipment up to 50 pounds.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 per hour
