Join our Samaritan Healthcare community! Samaritan is seeking a full-time Clinic Receptionist for our clinic locations. As a receptionist, you will greet customers in a professional and friendly manner, in person and on the telephone, verify insurance information, receive payments, and coordinate patient flow through a schedule of appointment(s). A successful team member provides services that enhance the customers’ experience when seeking services at the Samaritan. Experience in a healthcare setting with answering telephones, scheduling, medical billing/insurance, and bookkeeping preferred. Receptionist positions support all clinical services which may include the RVEC clinic requiring the wearing of an N95 mask.
This is a Full-time, M-F position with availability from 8 am to 5 pm.
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum of two years secretarial/bookkeeping experience preferred
Computer experience (MS Word, Excel, Outlook, data entry, and Internet skills)
Experience with medical insurance billing preferred
Note: Basic Life Support Heartsaver (HS) level to be completed within three (3) months of hire.
