Serves as a member of the ITS management team. Establishes Legends Casino’s enterprise security stance through policy, architecture and training processes. Recommends security solutions and components, monitors security systems, conducts vulnerability audits and assessments, and remediates security deficiencies. Interfaces with the Operations, Infrastructure, and Development teams to share the corporate security vision and to solicit their involvement in achieving higher levels of enterprise security through information sharing and cooperation.

Participates as a member of the ITS Department Management/Supervisory Team. In this capacity attends department management meetings, collaborates and makes recommendations, and assists with budget processes.
Designs and implements enterprise security architecture.
Develops curriculums and delivers security awareness training for various groups.
Creates policies and procedures, standards, baselines, and guidelines addressing subjects and issues associated with enterprise wide security.
Creates and maintains the enterprise’s Business Continuity Plan and Disaster Recovery Plan.
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of the IT security industry including awareness of new or revised security solutions, improved security processes, and the development of emerging attacks and threats.
Selects and acquires security solutions and/or enhancements to existing security solutions to improve overall enterprise security.
Oversees the deployment, integration and initial configuration of all new security solutions and of any enhancements to existing security solutions.
Ensures the confidentiality, integrity and availability of the data residing on or transmitted to/from/through enterprise workstations, servers, and other systems and repositories.
Ensures the enforcement of enterprise security standards and complies with regulatory documents.
When requested by authorized authority participates in investigations using IT forensic best practices and methodologies and provides findings to proper authorities.
Supervises the design and execution of vulnerability assessments, penetration tests and security audits.
Performs regular security awareness training for all employees to ensure consistently high levels of compliance with enterprise security standards.
Prepares and maintains technical records and documentation in conformance with ITS Department standards.

MINIMUM EDUCATION REQUIRED FOR POSITION: HS Diploma or GED required. AS degree in Information Technology required. BS degree in Information Technology highly preferred. Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) certification required, or significant progress toward obtaining the certification and the ability to obtain it within 12 months of hire. Information Technology Infrastructure Library (ITIL) Foundation certification desired. 5 years experience designing and documenting security architecture preferred. 3 years experience developing Business Continuity Plans and Disaster and Recovery Plans preferred. Experience developing and delivering employee security awareness training is desirable. Additional experience may be substituted in lieu of a degree at the ratio of 2 years of experience for each year of education.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS: Manual and finger dexterity for operation of personal computer and completion of routine paperwork. This position is subject to frequent sitting, intermittent walking, standing, bending, reaching, lifting up to 50 pounds, and occasionally involves working in confined spaces. High energy casino environment involves frequent exposure to bright lights, smoke, and noise.

Ability to access and interpret current information security standards and literature from various sources. Must thoroughly understand client server application models and how to maintain and troubleshoot issues associated with these systems. A complete understanding of all facets IT service desk operations and IT customer service standards and protocols. Ability to troubleshoot complex technical problems and come to sound conclusions. Ability to effectively use standard IT test equipment and hand tools. Ability to obtain and maintain a Class III A gaming license.
