The Project Manager I will support the Senior Project Manager (SPM) in the planning and execution of all projects. This role is responsible for the coordination and completion of projects on-time, on-budget, and within scope.
Responsible for the day-to-day management of projects using project management tools, processes and methodologies to ensure assigned projects are delivered on-time, within budget and meet high quality standards.
Assist the SPM in the development and distribution of project objectives, milestones, schedules, budget etc.
Provide support to the Deployment Coordinator to ensure that project related tasks and resources are dispatched in an efficient and timely manner to meet all objectives and schedules.
Serve as point of contact for everything involving a project’s organization and timeline.
Be engaged, with the ability to speak to status across all ongoing projects at any time.
Demonstrate consistent ownership and accountability for the delivery of projects.
Identify project requirements and define project deliverables to meet/exceed customer expectations.
Ensure that all team members have the required information and resources to carry out their tasks effectively.
Continuously deliver high quality service and problem resolution to ensure Wholesail Networks is adhering to the high service levels expected by our customers.
Continuously perform risk assessment, mitigate risk and remove roadblocks independently.
Serve as primary point of contact between the SPM and customers to provide regular updates.
Coordinate with relevant internal team members to manage action items and timelines to meet business goals.
Maintain comprehensive project documentation and provide regular streamlined reports to leadership.
Provide best-in-class customer service.
Perform other duties as requested.
Qualifications and Desired Skills:
2+ years of experience in project management/coordination experience.
5+ years of customer service experience required.
Solid understanding of project management principles and methodology.
Project management experience in telecom is a plus.
Excellent time management skills and ability to prioritize.
Ability to provide excellent customer service.
Ability to influence others to meet project objectives on time and within approved budgets.
Ability to communicate effectively with all levels within an organization.
Ability to work on multiple projects at the same time and prioritize accordingly.
Strong oral and written communication skills are required.
Ability to operate various office equipment such as personal computer, various software programs including Microsoft Office applications (Excel, Outlook, Visio), and telephone systems.
Ambitious and goal oriented.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills are required.
Ability to work as part of a team while performing as an individual.
Ability to sit for long periods of time in a typical office environment.
Ability to lift and carry up to 20 pounds
