Administers programs, procedures, and plans used in carrying out human resource policies including recruitment, onboarding, employee data maintenance and compliance. Provides guidance in policies and procedures and general HR topics to employees and managers.
Education: Bachelor degree.
Experience: 2 years Human Resource experience as a generalist required. Healthcare experience preferred.
Preferred Certification: SHRM-CP or PHR preferred.
Other: Strong analytical and problem solving skills; Excellent written, verbal and interpersonal communication abilities; ability to maintain confidentiality.
Provide personnel policy and procedure guidance to employees and management.
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements.
Respond to human resources-related inquiries.
Perform recruitment activities including conducting new employee on-boarding and orientation. Work collaboratively with the human resources recruitment team to develop effective recruitment strategies and identify future staffing needs.
Maintain employee data in HRIS system, including new hires, terminations and status changes.
Assure staff have the current required licensure and certifications for their position, maintaining data in HRIS. Communicate with managers and staff as needed to assure compliance.
Maintain employee personnel records. Respond to subpoenas and request for information.
Report monthly organizational HR dashboard statistics to Market Director.
Manage wage progression and increases. Prepares reports for compensation analysis.
Exemplify a team concept with all staff, internal, and external customers.
Demonstrate personal customer services skills and promotes excellence in employee performance.
Demonstrate ability to organize and complete projects.
Work collaboratively with Lourdes and Trios HR team members.
