Desk Support Technician/Information Technology - Pasco, WA

Job Description:
This position establishes a central point that users contact to report technical problems or address technical questions. The successful candidate will be a self-starter with excellent communication skills that include a technical vocabulary. The HelpDesk Technician will evaluate users’ problems, determine if the problems are user, software, or equipment related. The HelpDesk Technician will attempt first call resolution to the best of their ability and then assign the problems to the appropriate IS area/individual for advanced problem resolution if necessary. A critical attribute required of this position is exceptional interpersonal customer services consisting of an outgoing positive attitude, warm friendly joyful demeanor, and the utmost care and respect for our guests, patients, families, customers and colleagues.

EDUCATION & QUALIFICATIONS:
High School Diploma or equivalent
Minimum two (2) years experience working with Microsoft desktop applications. Successful work experience identifying PC problems to a functional level. Extensive knowledge of Microsoft software and operating system. Successful work experience handling repetitive telephone calls. Help Desk experience. Healthcare experience/knowledge a plus. Commitment to customer satisfaction with proven track record. Experience preparing instructional documentation. Proven track record in the ability to take on additional responsibilities. Experience with Windows 2008/2012 Server and Citrix. Experience with Active Directory troubleshooting and management.
Bilingual and/or English-Spanish speaking abilities preferred. Ability to work with a culturally diverse population.
