Full Job Description
To hire a highly skilled dedicated and positive MIG Welder to join a long-time, rapid growing manufacturing company that is well established. Ability and willingness to take on new responsibilities
REPORTS TO: Director of Operations
RESPONSIBILITIES: Including, but not limited to:
Aluminum MIG welding
Able to prep, tack-weld or weld components under the direction of the shop supervisor in accordance with established procedures and product drawings
Able to interpret product drawings and specifications to plan layout, assembly and welding operations, weld symbols and material preps.
Able to follow verbal instructions and use simple math skills.
Maintain the work area and equipment in a clean and orderly condition.
Must successfully pass company weld test
Positive attitude and ability to work independently.
Perform related activities as assigned by supervisor.
Strong troubleshooting and critical thinking skills
Strong organizational skills
Basic Computer Skills
Conscientious and dedicated; accurate, must work well independently and with excellent attention to detail
Ability to lift up to 50lbs
High School Diploma or GED
At least one year experience in MIG Welding
