Primary contact for Trios IT Department customers. Strong customer service skills are very important in this position. Represents Trios IT department in a manner which is consistent with existing department objectives and policies.
Adheres to Trios Information Security Roles, Responsibilities, Privacy and Security standards by appropriately administering physicial and technical standards.
Verifies proper hardware and software setup and provides assistance in navigating in hospital licensed software. Troubleshoots end user software, hardware, configuration, and network connection problems. Runs basic diagnostic tests as required. Documents diagnostics and re-assigns service requests to second level support.
Assists in imaging, installing and configuring new hardware equipment, adheres to Trios IT asset tracking standards.
Develops a general and basic understanding of hospital licensed software to identify and assist in non-complex issues before escalating to a second level support.
Provides after hours on-call support for the IT department.
Minimum Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent, 3+ years experience in working an IT Helpdesk, 3+ years experience supporting PC's in a Windows environment, proficient in Windows OS, PC's, PDA's and Desktop Software.
