Another Source’s client, Sabey Corporation is recruiting an IT Infrastructure Technician to join their team in Tukwila, WA. Sabey Data Centers is one of the oldest and largest privately-owned multi-tenant data center owner/developer/operators in the world.

The IT Infrastructure Technician is responsible for resolving high-level technology issues, supporting other technicians to issue resolution and assisting in implementation of projects. This position is also responsible for maintaining and overseeing the servers, networks, and applications with a security first mindset.

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: 

Technical escalation point for the 24x7 Sabey Operations Center (SOC) team, including an on-call basis. 
Maintaining, upgrading, optimizing and ensuring maximum uptime of live, pre-production and dev environments. 
Troubleshooting and fixing or escalating application, network, and system issues. 
Participating in the hardening, patching and implementation of system and network infrastructure projects. 
Ensuring that system monitoring setup is robust and properly structured. 
Assisting the various site teams with tasks that require optimization/modifications to the current infrastructure. 
Assist in preparing of environments for the testing of software releases, participate in the planning, scheduling and execution of said releases. 
Assist in preparing documentation of application, network, and system SOP’s / MOP’s. 
Liaising with third party vendors when needed. 
Willingness to adopt a work-to-finish attitude, recognizing that in order to deliver projects on time working longer hours may at times be required. 
Willingness to travel for short periods, to carry out work when and if the need arises. 
Ability to follow and implement manufacturer hardening guidelines.

MINIMUM QUALFICATIONS: 

Two years experience of network and systems support
Experience with patching, deploying and maintaining network switches. Juniper EX switch experience a plus 
Experience with patching, deploying and maintaining network firewalls. Palo Alto experience a plus 
Experience with patching, deploying and maintaining virtual servers. VMWare experience a plus 
Experience with patching, deploying and maintaining Windows server systems 
Experience with wireless network deployments. Cisco Meraki experience a plus 
Experience documenting procedures and providing reports
