Job Description:
Install, maintain, and repair all Company machinery, equipment, physical structures, and infrastructure. (electrical and mechanical systems, water and steam lines, drainage systems, etc).

PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES
• Provide the highest quality maintenance service to all departments at all times.
. Preventive Maintenance.
• Complete electrical maintenance on assigned equipment.
• Perform all repairs, calibration, installation, assembly and modification on all Company equipment and buildings.
• Follow maintenance prioritization systems, to ensure most critical farm equipment is returned to operation in a timely manner.
• Responsible insuring all work is performed to meet or exceed all federal and state regulations.
• Perform all tasks in a manner consistent with safe working procedures; utilize all available safety equipment. Maintain cleanliness of work environment.

EDUCATION, REQUIREMENTS AND EXPERIENCE
Knowledge: Knowledge is mandatory in conducting safe maintenance procedures, general functions of a maintenance department and a prioritization process for maintenance repairs. A strong knowledge of electrical, electromechanical, mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic and welding principles is preferred. The ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, block diagrams and manufacturer’s literature is highly desired.

Education: Completion of High School (or equivalent) is mandatory. Completion of advanced courses in management, electronic principles, welding, automotive repair, plumbing/HVAC principles are recommended.

Training and Experience: The process of acquiring skills to perform as a maintenance technician is ongoing. Completion of training on new equipment or procedures is required to maintain position. Experience in troubleshooting equipment problems and completing repairs on assigned equipment is required.

Other: Ability to use drills, grinders, welding equipment, hand tools, multimeters, cutting tools, hydraulic press and specialized equipment used to maintain or repair electrical systems, and farm equipment, etal.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk; or hear. The employee is occasionally required to stand and walk. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision and ability to adjust focus. WORK ENVIRONMENT

The position requires work in typical farm environment and includes conditions such as the following: cold, heat, wet, humid, fumes, odors, dusts, gases, trip hazards, sharp objects, heavy objects.
