Job Description:
We are looking for an experienced Plumber, specifically someone who can be a service technician.
This person much be able to diagnose a problem, work out a solution and implement it fast while taking the customer's needs into account. The ability to undertake a variety of plumbing tasks is important but more important is learning fast and retaining what you learn.
Responsibilities
Install water treatment systems, cut into existing pipe, run drain-lines and do so in a way that will not look unsightly
Cut, assemble and install pipes and tubes with attention to existing infrastructure (e.g. electrical wiring)
Install and maintain water supply systems
Locate and repair issues with water supply lines (e.g. leaks)
Repair or replace broken drainage lines, clogged drains, faucets etc.
Install and maintain gas and liquid heating systems (air-conditioning units, radiators etc.)
Install waste disposal and sanitary systems with well-functioning drain, water and vent systems
Skills
Proven experience as a plumber
Ability to diagnose a problem
Ability to handle plumbing tools and equipment (pipe wrenches, pipe cutters, plungers etc.)
Understanding the best tools or part to resolve an issue
Good communication and interpersonal skills
Friendly and patient.
Good physical condition and strength with the ability to work in awkward spaces
Able to think on your feet, asses a problem and solve it on the spot
Creative and smart about problem solving and plumbing layout, repair and design
Good diagnostic skills
Able to handle an emergency without freezing up
Dedication to getting the job done once you you start it
Bonus if you can read blueprints and drawings to understand and plan the layout of plumbing, waste disposal and water supply systems
Pay depends on whether you are licensed (not required at first) and which of the above skills you possess.
Job Types: Full-time, Part-time
Pay: $25.00 - $55.00 per hour

Monday to Friday
