Responsibilities:

Diagnose and repair automotive vehicles
Perform routine vehicle tune-ups and maintenance
Inspect and test new vehicles for necessary adjustments
Identify mechanical, electrical, electronic problems, often via computerized equipment.
Follow checklists to ensure examination of all critical parts.
Utilize modern test equipment to ensure effective repairs or maintenance.
Analyze and recommend needed maintenance and repairs to ensure safe driveablitiy.
An ability and willingness to learn fast on European, Asian, and Domestic, and some diesel (not required)

Qualifications:

Previous experience as an automotive technician, mechanic, or other related fields is a plus
Knowledge of diagnostic electrical basics is a plus
Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills
Deadline and detail-oriented
Ability to work in fast paced environment effectively, and follow training and instructions well.
Ability to communicate with service writer on every step of the process.
Gain knowledge by participating in continuing education. (reimbursement for ASE certifications is necessary to remain Blue Seal Shop)

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $15.00 - $23.00 per hour
