Carpenters are detail-oriented professionals with construction knowledge who are good at working with their hands.

General Responsibilities

Control schedules, labor costs and quality of residential and commercial construction projects
Coordinate and implement schedules for projects based on established deadlines
Communicate with each department Foreman; requesting appropriate personnel based on scope of work
Assist Project Manager as needed
Resolve problems that arise due to schedule changes, product availability, weather, emergencies or other issues that may cause delays.
Review crew clocked hours and sign off per weekly pay period
Ensure adherence to all safety standards
Report all safety issues and take corrective actions as needed
Evaluate employee performance, make compensation recommendations
Administer disciplinary actions consistent with company policies

Project Responsibilities

Work with Estimator, Project Manager, customer and crew from start of each project to ensure appropriate delivery of the project scope and vision
Manage all projects start to finish while maintaining profitability and quality of work
Assure all permits and drawings are acquired prior to beginning of project
Create a project schedule for each project
Serve as primary contact between Estimator, customer, crew and subs
Coordinate and Supervise the worksite leads and crew providing guidance when needed
Evaluate job progress and maintain all notes, photos and updates in DASH
Conduct walk through with customer and develop a punch-list to complete project.
Conduct a punch list sign-off with customer (Customer initial each completed item on the list)
Final project photos Taken
Turn the Foreman file in to the Estimator or PM of the Job upon completion of project
All other duties as assigned

Minimum Qualifications

Excellent communication skills
(5) years of construction experience in multiple phases of residential and commercial projects
ln-depth understanding of construction procedures, materials, and project management principles
Excellent organizational and time-management skills
Outstanding communication and negotiation skills is key to achieve success
High degree of accuracy, attention to detail and confidentiality
Excellent analytical, problem solving and decision-making skiIIs
Effective verbal, listening and written communication skills
Effective organizational, stress and time management skills
Demonstrates a sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines

* Sign on Bonus up to $1,000 upon completing probationary period

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: Up to $26.00 per hour
