General Summary:
Under general supervision, this position is responsible for all accounts payables processing, data entry, reconciliations, and familiarity with document imaging, quality control, & outsourcing process.

Essential Job Accountabilities:
1. Provide excellent customer service in a timely, professional manner to promote a positive interaction with internal and external customers in order to ensure that they experience the highest quality of customer service.
2. Open and sort incoming mail to ensure AP documents are processed timely by each member of the AP group.
3. Organize and prioritize accounts payable batches for review and processing to allow for timely payment and scanning of AP documents.
4. Responsible for prompt data entry of all invoices to ensure all invoices are paid by the appropriate due date.
5. Meet closing cycle for month-end close in accounts payable to adhere to all periodic accounting deadlines.
6. Meet weekly deadlines for check runs to be sure that all AP documents due for payment are sent out timely
7. Perform on-line inquiries in the A/P system to access detailed information for vendors and field representatives to promote excellent customer satisfaction.
8. Perform mathematical recalculation and verification of approvals to ensure accuracy and compliance with Company’s policies.
9. Assist with internal/external audits and self-audits of all business functions to ensure that established internal controls are followed to maintain compliance with Company’s policies and procedures, including all Sarbanes-Oxley requirements.

Education:
• High School Diploma

Work Experience:
• 0-2 years work experience

Knowledge, skills, and abilities:
• Good written and verbal communication skills
• Team player
• Attention to detail
• Working knowledge of Word and Excel
• Ability to work overtime as needed
• Ability to work independently
• 10 key by touch.
