What are we looking for in a Support Services Specialist?
Our Support Services team provides administrative & clerical assistance and information to support our clinical operations across Comprehensive Healthcare. Whether through scheduling appointments, providing clinic reception, or answering phone inquiries, the Support Services team is the primary customer service representative for clients, service providers, and other visitors to our facilities. In our Yakima location, the Support Services Specialists must to be skilled in all areas of our Support Services as they will provide backup coverage to all roles. The Support Services Specialist needs to possess excellent communication abilities, the ability to multitask with frequent disruptions, and strong time management skills. This position is located in our Yakima location and has a Monday-Friday day shift schedule.

Support Services Specialist duties may include:
maintaining working knowledge of all Support Services tasks to be able to provide technical assistance and backup coverage for each role
completing assigned daily data entry tasks
assisting clinical staff with requests for medical records
coordinating work assignments with the Support Services Coordinator and prioritizing or reassigning work as needed
providing clinic reception and administrative assistance to the assigned team or clinical facility
scheduling client appointments and coordinating provider schedules
maintaining accurate client records & assisting clients with the completion of paperwork as requested
communicating effectively and professionally with clients, primary care providers, service providers, and staff
maintaining client confidentiality per HIPAA guidelines
Qualifications:
High school diploma or GED
Education or vocational training in general office procedures or business administration
Three years of experience in a lead role in an office or administrative setting, preferably within the healthcare field
