Information Systems for Pasco School District
Contract: 4-6 weeks
Monday-Friday; Flexible hours between 6am-6pm

- Ability to bend, squat, climb stairs and lift 10-15lbs frequently and lift, move, and carry heavy boxes and equipment occasionally
- Ability to manipulate small hand tool and spend the majority of the workday standing or walking
- Demonstrated working knowledge in the following areas:
- Repair and maintenance of personal computers and printers
- Windows Operating System and/or Office 365 environment
- Upgrading and troubleshooting PC hardware and software issues, including software incompatibilities
- Installation, configuration, and maintenance of computers within an enterprise network environment
- Troubleshooting computer software/hardware and LAN connectivity problems with the ability to describe the logical steps involved in troubleshooting a problem where several pieces of equipment could be at fault

Job Responsibilities:
- Exhibit exceptional customer service abilities in interactions with users, maintaining a positive, productive, and proactive attitude
- Communicate high priority tickets to teams for immediate resolution
- Prioritize help requests, immediately resolving simple issues based on time available, inputting tickets for field technician support, or referring issues to system administrators
- Maintain a safe and functional operating condition of computer equipment and peripherals by troubleshooting, repairing, maintaining, installing, and performing testing activities
- Assemble, install, and configure computer equipment to the district’s enterprise network using standard protocols
- Complete work orders such as troubleshooting computer related issues, installing equipment, and connecting and moving devices
- Work with fellow team members in supporting desktop computers, laptops, tablets, peripheral equipment, including document cameras, projectors, network printers, classroom sound systems, and providing support for users' software and hardware needs
- Answer user inquiries regarding computer software or hardware operation for the purpose of solving problems and determining appropriate actions to maintain computer operations on the network
- Collaborate with other Information Systems staff for the purpose of completing projects and work tickets efficiently
- Display a high level of customer service and ownership in all duties performed
- Work through the troubleshooting process, effectively annotating the process within the district’s technology work ticket system
