A GREAT Opportunity to begin your career with the state! Employment Security Department (ESD) is seeking to hire a full-time/permanent "Virtual" Office Assistant 3. Supporting our UI - Work Opportunity Tax Credit (WOTC) unit you will support ESD's mission by completing out of state requests, Power of Attorney documents, processing of SSI and DVR WOTC categories and answering phones so employers continue to be incentivized to hire targeted job seekers and subsequently receive the federal tax credits they have earned for doing so.

Core Daily Responsibilities:
Process out of state requests which come into the WOTC unit via: fax, email and mail.
Work in multiple ESD databases:
ACES – DSHS
Out of state WOTC portals
Compile SSI and DVR list for processing.
Enter SSI/DVR response in the WOTC online system.
Complete WOTC application certification or denial determination.

High School Diploma or GED AND
Two (2) years of clerical experience.
A combination of education and/or relevant experience.
